Miscreants steal jewellery from woman’s handbag

Mysuru: Miscreants have lifted gold jewellery from the handbag of a woman, who was travelling in a city bus from Kuvempunagar Complex to the Clock Tower near Town Hall on Wednesday.

The woman, who lost her jewellery is Roopa, a resident of Kuvempunagar.

Roopa, who boarded the City Bus at Kuvempunagar Complex on Wednesday afternoon, alighted at the Clock Tower. When she examined her handbag, she found the gold jewellery weighing about 66 grams missing and lodged a complaint at Kuvempunagar Police Station.

Kuvempunagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard are investigating.
