Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, on Tuesday night, have allegedly torched the name board of Nellur Shed Layout at Ashokapuram, which was recently changed as ‘Buddha Nagar.’

The name board had the name ‘Nellur Shed Layout’ earlier, which was changed to ‘Buddha Nagar’ on Oct. 12. 

The name board had the portraits of Buddha, Basavanna, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and BabuJagjeevan Ram printed on it, which has been torched, Police said.

Based on a complaint, Ashokapuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, have launched a hunt to nab the miscreants.
