Nanjangud:  An 11-year-old boy, who had gone missing since May 22, has been found dead and his body was found floating in a lake the next afternoon. The deceased boy is M.B. Vishnu left his house on May 22 at about 3 pm saying that he was going to attend Bhagirata Jayathi celebrations, but did not return.

On May 23 at about 3 pm, when a man took his cattle to Jodukatte Lake in Tagadur, he found a body of a boy floating in the lake and informed villagers. Soon, the villagers, including the parents of Vishnu, rushed to the lake and Vishnu’s parents identified the body as that of their son.

Nanjangud Dy.SP Govindaraj, CIP Lakshmikanth Talawar, Kavalande SI Mahendra and staff reached the spot and conducted preliminary investigation during which Vishnu’s parents expressed doubts on his death.
