Mission Indradhanush

‘Mission Indradhanush,’ an immunisation programme for children will be held across the district from Aug.7 to 19. A total of 678 immunisation centres will be opened across the district including at 598 places considered as high-risk zones. During the programme, pregnant women who have been deprived of preventive vaccines on a full scale and children aged between 0-2 years and 5-6 years will be administered vaccines. The ‘Mission Indradhanush’ programme was launched by the Government of India on Dec. 25, 2014.
