MIT Mysuru hosts VTU Students’ Symposium

Mysore/Mysuru: Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Mysuru, had organised a 2-day VTU Students’ Virtual Symposium recently. The theme of the event was ‘Disruptive Technologies for Social Development.’ 

The mega online event had the Trustees of Maharaja Education Trust as its patrons and heads of all the Departments as members of Advisory Committee.

The keynote address was delivered by VTU VC Dr. Karisiddappa, who emphasised on the importance of youth giving technical solutions to the problems related to agriculture. (Link to the keynote address by the VC: https://youtu.be/e6l91Azk1h4).

The symposium had 84 selected students from 22 Engineering Colleges participating in three events — Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation and Ideathon.

The valedictory address was delivered by B.N. Manu, Technical Lead, Research Division – Harman India.
