Mysore/Mysuru: KR MLA S.A. Ramdas distributed Ayurvedic kits to over 230 residents of Containment Zones in Vidyaranyapuram area in city yesterday.

Speaking to press persons, Ramdas said, “We all know that prevention is better than cure. While there is no medicine for COVID-19 as of now, it will be good to take preventive measures to boost our immunity in these times. These Ayurvedic medicines would help boost the immunity, which is especially beneficial in the current crisis.”

 “There are over 195 Containment Zones in city. We are aiming to bring down death rate to zero in Krishnaraja Assembly segment,” he said  and added that “There are a number of positive cases in Vidyaranyapuram area and in some houses, multiple number of householders in the same family have been infected. In an effort to boost their immunity, we are distributing Ayurvedic kits containing various herbs including ginger, turmeric and coriander.” 

KR Constituency Nodal Officer Jayashree, Sushruth and others accompanied the MLA.
