AGM of K.R. Co-operative Bank held

Mysore/Mysuru: “Our society should progress through mutual co-operation as welfare of poor is possible through co-operative sector,” opined Kollegal MLA A.R. Krishnamurthy.

The MLA was speaking at a felicitation programme organised by city’s Sri Krishna Rajendra (K.R) Co-operative Bank, on the occasion of its Annual General Meeting, at city Maharaja’s College Centenary Hall here on Sunday. Senior Co-operators were honoured at the function for their contributions to the co-operative sector.

“Co-operative sectors are strong in North Karnataka region and they need to become strong in Mysuru region also. Co-operative Banks must function in a disciplined manner and provide good financial services to everyone in the society. It is good that K.R. Bank is doing well and working for the welfare of the poor,” lauded the MLA.

K.R. Co-operative Bank President Pratidwani Prasad, who spoke at the function said that K.R. Bank has celebrated its centenary celebrations recently and is going strong with the cooperation of everyone.

“The Bank has registered a net profit of Rs. 54 lakh in the present year. All co-operators have worked hard for its progress even during the COVID period,” he added.

Senior co-operators M. Mallikarjunaswamy, R. Rangaswamy, S. Siddalingaswamy, S. Mohanraju, N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Thimmaiah, S.E. Subbanna,  Channegowda, S.M. Karibasappa, M. Siddappa, D. Anandkumar, A. Sampath Kumarachar, M.S. Nataraj, M. Mukunda, Siddaramaiah, S. Basappa, Mohamad Anwar, Indramma, A. Anasuya, A.G. Padmavathamma were felicitated at the function.

Bank President Pratidwani Prasad, Vice-President D. Basavaraju, Manager D. Ananta Veerappa, Directors A. Srinivasa Shetty, V.M. Nagendra Prasad and others were present             on the occasion.
