Mysuru: Mysuru Gonguras, a multi-cuisine restaurant and the first venture of Maha Santhrupti Ventures Pvt. Ltd., located opposite to JSS Multi-Specialty Hospital on M.G. Road,  was inaugurated in city recently.

While the restaurant was inaugurated by MLA S.A. Ramdas, Arpitha Simha, wife of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, inaugurated the kitchen. Mysuru Hotel Owners’ Association President C. Narayana Gowda presided.

City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath and ACP (Traffic) G.N. Mohan, were felicitated on the occasion.

The 10 Directors  of the venture are all specialists in various medical fields and share similar interest in hospitality, cooking and serving which paved way for this idea of restaurant by Doctors, a first-of-its-kind in the region.

The venture is owned by senior doctors —  Dr. R. Basavaraju, Dr. H.S. Ravi, Dr. Karthik Udupa, Dr. K.S. Kumar, Dr. S. Shivananda, Dr. Divakar, Dr. Gautham Cugati, Dr. Mahesh Nerkar, Dr. Sujana Teja and Dr. B. Guru Murthy, who promised that every one would be served a medically safe, healthy, home-made food at affordable price to common man at the restaurant.
