MLA L. Nagendra bereaved

Mysore/Mysuru: Lingappa (96), father of MLA L. Nagendra and a resident of K.G. Koppal, passed away in the wee hours of today at his residence. 

He leaves behind his wife Puttalingamma, sons, L. Nagendra, Madappa, Chowdappa and Manjunath, daughters Puttalakshmamma and Maniyamma and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds this afternoon, according to family sources.

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, MLAs G.T. Devegowda and S.R. Mahesh, former MP C.H. Vijayashankar, former MLA M.K. Somashekar, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister M.B. Maramkal, former MLCs D. Madegowda and Thontadarya, former Mayors Ayub Khan and R. Lingappa, former MUDA Chairman d. Dhruvakumar, Vidya Vikas Educational Trust Secretary Kaveesh Gowda and other dignitaries paid their last respects to the departed soul.
