Mysuru: MLA S.A. Ramdas this morning performed ‘Guddali Puja’ for developing the pavement on Satya Harishchandra Road near Gun House coming under MCC Ward 51 to facilitate the street vegetable vendors to conduct business without problem.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas said that the project under MCC funding of Rs. 42 lakh would form a good tiled pavement measuring 300 metre long and 7ft wide with a wall behind to prevent sliding of slush to the pavement during rains along with a good drainage system.
Corporator B.V. Manjunath, Ward BJP President Gururaj, KR Constituency BJP Vice-President Balakrishna, MCC Development Officer A.T. Somashekarappa and Assistant Commissioner Sunil Babu were present.
Earlier in the morning, Ramdas launched the asphalting of road in front of Devaraj Urs Colony and cross roads in JP Nagar ‘C’ Block.
