MLA Ramdas flags off Karnataka Darshana

Mysuru: MLA and former Minister S.A. Ramdas flagged off the five- day ‘Karnataka Darshana’ tour organised by Mysuru South BEO Office  for selected 52 High School students, at its premises here yesterday.

Mysuru South BEO Office will conduct this programme every year for the benefit of the students. The students would cover Melukote, Yediyur, Chitradurga, T.B. Dam, Kudalasangama, Alamatti, Vijayapura, Badami, Pattadakallu, Hampi and other places.    

Prize for best travelogues

Later, speaking on the occasion, Ramdas announced to provide cash prize for five best travelogues to be written by participating students after their return from the tour.

Corporator Sowmya Umesh, South BEO Shivakumar, BRC Nagesh, Manohar,  Head Master, teachers and others were present during the flag off.
