Mysore/Mysuru: Krishnaraja MLA S.A. Ramdas launched the renovation works  of two temples yesterday. Ramdas performed guddali puja  for the works of Sri Srinivasa Temple at Jayanagar 5th cross and Umamaheshwari Temple in Kuvempunagar. The MLA also sanctioned Rs. 5 lakh each to the two temples from the legislatures’ fund.

Later, speaking to press persons, he said, “Muzrai Department is planning to spend Rs. 1 crore for development of temples in the year 2020-21. We will take up development works in 216 temples in the region. Rs. 5 lakh has been sanctioned for roof repair works of the quadrangle opposite Umamaheshwari Temple. Along with this, park development work has also been undertaken.”
