Mysuru/Mysore: A workshop was held recently at Vidyashankara Kalyana Mantapa here to create awareness about Coronavirus spread.
Presidents and office-bearers of 270 booths coming under Krishnaraja constituency and others participated in the workshop organised by Krishnaraja MLA S.A. Ramdas, who urged authorities to distribute distribute masks free of cost.
District Representative of World Health Organisation Dr. Sudhir Nayak, DHO Dr. Venkatesh, District Vector-Borne Diseases Control Officer Dr. Chidambara, Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. Prasanna Venkatesh, Yogakumar, Dhanyakumar and others addressed the gathering and spoke about precautionary measures to be taken to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus in city.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ramdas said, “The disease spread can be prevented by practicing Pranayama and Agnihotra.
For those who are interested, we will be conducting a training programme. About 60,000 brochures have been published and will be distributed all over the State.”
