As part of 270th birthday of Hazrath Tipu Sulthan Shaheed, former Minister, MLA and Chairman of Hazrath Tippu Wakf Estate Tanveer Sait visited the tomb of Hazrath Tipu Sulthan Shaheed at Gumbad-e-Shahi in Srirangapatna this morning and offered floral tributes to the tomb of Tipu.

Shahi Imam of Masjid-e-Aqsa at Gumbad Hazrath Moulan Inayath-ur-Rehman Rizvi prayed and read verses from the Holy Quran. Mandya District Wakf Advisory Committee Chairman Shaik Ubaid  Ulla, Secretary of Tippu Wakf Estate Irfan Pasha, Secretary of Tahafuz Khabarasthan Committee Khurrath, former Corporator K.C. Shoukath Pasha, Iyas Baig, social workers Md. Mumtaz Ahmed, Iqbal Pasha, Md. Irfan, Khaleel ur Rahman Affu, Abdul khader Shahid and others were present. Later, sweets were distributed to the members present in the tomb and tourists who came to visit the tomb. Elaborate security was provided by the Police around the Gumbad.
