March 24, 2022

Bengaluru: Days after senior leader C.M. Ibrahim quit Congress party and his Legislative Council seat, Chamarajpet MLA B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan, who is said to be frustrated with Congress, may quit the party soon. Zameer, who is a close associate of former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, is said to have held talks with Ibrahim, during which he reportedly expressed his displeasure about the State of affairs in Congress and also hinted at quitting the party sooner or later.

Meanwhile, after quitting the Congress, Ibrahim, who is most likely to join the JD(S),  is said to be talking to all disgruntled minority community leaders in the Congress in a bid to bring them to JD(S), which move has rattled the State Congress leaders.
