Mobile phone snatched at City Bus Stand

Mysore/Mysuru: A mobile phone thief, who had snatched a mobile phone at City Bus Stand and was fleeing, was caught by the public and handed over to the Police.

On Aug. 7, 37-year-old Shivanna, a Pump Operator at Vani Vilas Water Works and a resident of Rammanahalli, was boarding a bus at City Bus Stand at about 9 am, when a mobile phone thief snatched his phone and gave it to his accomplice. It is said that four persons had come to City Bus Stand to steal mobile phones. When Shivanna began to scream for help, all the four persons began to run and the public caught one of them and handed him over to the Police.

The arrested has been identified as Nayaz Pasha, a resident of Kyathamaranahalli and the Police are on a look out for three others who were with him.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Police Station.
