Mock fire drill held at Clearmedi Hospital

Mysuru: A mock drill regarding extinguishing accidental fire in hospital was conducted by Hebbal Fire Station Officers and staff at Clearmedi Radiant Hospital located in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage in city recently. The Fire and Emergency Services personnel also conducted a demonstration on extinguishing various types of fire during the mock drill.

The mock drill was held as part of the Fire Service Week 2025, by Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services Department with the theme ‘Unite to Ignite, a Fire Safe India,’ from Apr. 14 to 20 in the State.

During the drill, led by District Fire Officer Santosh, a demonstration on extinguishing fires, evacuating patients and staff and preventive steps to be taken during fire emergency were conducted. Fire Safety Officer Vikram Kumar, Dr. Hemanth, Dr. Chaitra, Dr. Syed, Dr. Avinash, Senior Lab Technician S.S. Nagendra & staff were present.
