Mysuru: As part of Prof. B. Sheik Ali Centennial celebrations and International Day of Yoga, a model classroom  was inaugurated at Maulana Azad School at Teachers Layout on Dr. Rajkumar Road in city recently by Dr. M.D.  Kamath, Senior Consultant Surgeon at Brunei Darusalam while the culinary activity section was launched by C.S. Arpana, Block Resource Co-ordinator, Mysuru North.

These initiatives reflect the institution’s evolving commitment to holistic education and practical skill-building for students.

Dr. Zakir Hussain, President of the Sultan Shaheed Education Trust (SSET), who presided, underscored the importance of honouring Professor Ali’s scholarly contributions while nurturing innovative platforms for the next generation.

The celebrations echoed a message of unity, growth and reverence for tradition.
