Mysuru: Asserting that Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s magic will not work in Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has said that BJP National President Amit Shah’s visit to the State will not make any impact on the electorate.
Speaking to press persons after arriving at Mandakalli Airport here yesterday morning, Siddharamaiah maintained that the people of the State were happy with the Congress Government’s performance.
Hitting out at the performance of the NDA Government headed by PM Modi at the Centre, the CM said that senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha’s recent comment expressing concern over growth decline, only proves Modi’s utter failure on the economic front.

Replying to a question on the progress in the investigation into journalist Gauri Lankesh’s murder, the CM said that the SIT, which was investigating the case, is working overtime to nab the killers.
