Mohamed Kamal (77), a resident of LIG, behind Salafi Masjid, Hanumantha-nagar, passed away following brief illness at a private hospital in city yesterday afternoon.

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, sons Abu Kalam and Jalaluddin Mohamed Akbar of Ibrahim Traders at Bandipalya, brother Mohamed Iqbal and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was performed today at Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road after Zohar Salath (1.45 pm), followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
