Mohiniattam and Hindustani flute recital this evening

Mysuru:  As part of Nartana Namana, Ganabharathi in association with Raasavrunda will be presenting Mohiniattam by the students of Raasavrunda trained under Guru Kalamandalam Suchitra Anil Kumar at 6.30 pm today (Aug. 17). The performing artistes are Akshara C. Urs, Mahati Vasuki, Apoorva Sameer, S.Niveditha, Shree Krupa and Chinmayee Bharadwaj.

This will be followed by a Hindustani flute recital by Pt. Sameer Rao (student of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia). Sameer Rao will be accompanied on tabla by Pt.  Gurumurthy Vaidya, Bengaluru.
