Moodalapaaya Cyclopaedia: information sought

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, which is planning to bring out an cyclopaedia on ‘Moodalapaaya’ during 2021-22, has sought information about this art from general public.

The purpose of bringing out the cyclopaedia is to help the coming generation to study in detail about this form of  yakshagana. 

Those having articles, photographs, colour photos, manuscripts, chandassu, Kavyada Soundarya, Bannagaarike, specialty of characters, gejjepuje, yakshagana kendras, details of bhagavatharu and artistes, could share the same with the Academy through e-mail: [email protected] or send by courier/post to: The Chairman, Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, Bengaluru, according to a press release.
