Mysuru: The 293rd edition of moonlight music concert will be held at Suttur Mutt in city on June 29 at 6 pm. Vid. Siddhartha Belmannu will present a vocal concert in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.  

Siddhartha Belmannu, a native of Karkala in Udupi, was born in 1996. Noticing his interest in music, Siddhartha’s parents taught him music at primary level. Later, he learnt Hindustani music from P.R. Manjunath and started giving concerts at a young age. He also learnt under Gayanacharya Gururao Deshpande and Pt. Bhimsen Joshi in gurukula system. Following this, he continued to learn from Pt. Vinayak Torvi of Gwalior and Kirana Gharana.  

He will be accompanied by Vid. Mysuru N. Karthik on violin, Vid. Giridhar Udupa on ghata, Vid. B.S. Arunkumar on drums and Vid. Varun Pradeep on keyboard.
