Mysuru:  Vidushi K. Vrunda Acharya will present a vocal music concert at the monthly moonlight music programme organised at Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 6 pm on Mar. 31 (Saturday). Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.

A talented vocal artiste, Vrunda learnt her elementary lessons in music from Vidushi Shyla Subramanyam and advanced lessons from Vidushi Neela Ramgopal.

Her husband Arjun Kumar is a well-known mridanga artiste.

A top grade Akashavani artiste, she has won many awards including ‘Ananya Yuva Puraskara’, ‘Aryabhata’ award and ‘RagaTanaPallavi’.

At tomorrow’s concert, she will be accompanied by Vidushi V. Nalina Mohan on violin and Vidwan A. Radhesh on mridanga.
