MP highlights Central schemes

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha yesterday distributed selection certificates to beneficiaries of various Central Government Schemes at a programme organised under the aegis of Belaku Charitable Trust at Jana Seva Kendra on Ramanuja road here on Saturday. 

Speaking on the occasion, Pratap Simha said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had introduced a host of welfare and development schemes for all sections of society and it is important that party workers reach the benefits to every targeted beneficiary at his or  her doorstep.

Highlighting the measures taken by the Modi Government to alleviate the problems of the poor during COVID-19 crisis, Simha said that schemes such as Ayushman Bharat Health Card, Widow Pension, Old Age Pension,  PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, Kisan Cards, PM-SYM (Pradhan Mantri – Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan) etc., have benefited crores of people across the country.  

Maintaining that Government schemes will be successful only if all the targeted beneficiaries are benefited, he complimented  Belaku Charitable Trust for taking efforts in educating the people on Government schemes and the benefits under them. 

Citing  a suggestion by PM Modi, the MP appealed party workers, especially from BJP Yuva Morcha, to set up COVID-19 vaccination information centres in order to educate the masses on the ongoing vaccination drive. 

RSS City Sanchalak R. Vasudev Bhat, RSS leader K.P. Pradyumna, Corporator B.V. Manjunath, Belaku Charitable Trust Founder K.M. Nishant, leader Madhusudhan and others were present.
