Mysore/Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha inaugurated a pure drinking water unit near Krishnadevaraya Circle in Vijayanagar second stage here on Tuesday. The drinking water unit,  installed by the MCC with Rs.10 lakh grant from MP local area development fund, will cater to the drinking water needs of residents of Vijayanagar second stage, Mahajana Layout and surrounding areas.

On the occasion, senior residents of the locality presented a memorandum to the MP seeking an end to haphazard parking of vehicles by students of a nearby college, establishment of a Primary Health Care Centre in Vijayanagar First and Second stage and setting up of a public library in the locality.

MLA L. Nagendra, Local Corporator M.U. Subbaiah, local leader Puneeth, Aqua Green Water Solutions Manager Karthik and others were present.
