MRC gets six new Members

Six persons have been elected as new Members to Mysore Race Club (MRC) at the election held yesterday at its premises.

The new members are T.A. Harsha Nandana (132 votes), Amith Aiyappa (126 votes),  Ravi Koti (115 votes), B.P. Devaraja (98 votes), Anil Ashwath (96 votes) and K.M. Suraj (93 votes).

A total of 16 candidates had contested the election out of which six were elected as Members of the Club. Voting, which began from yesterday morning, concluded at 5.30 pm following which counting of votes was taken up and the results were declared.
