December 16, 2017

Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) will take a decision on allotting 20 acres of land for an International Cricket Stadium near Sathagalli on Dec.20. This was decided at a MUDA meeting chaired by MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar here yesterday.

Bengaluru Kanteerava Stadium Authorities had submitted an application to MUDA seeking 20 acres of land on lease near Sathagalli for construction of an International Cricket Stadium.

Although the meeting discussed the matter for long, it could not arrive at a final decision as there was no consensus on the terms of lease and lease rate.

Later, the meeting decided to come to a final decision on MUDA’s next meeting on Dec.20.

The meeting also decided to take a final decision on Group Housing Scheme near the ring road in Vijayanagar second stage, after holding talks with the Government as some changes have to be made to the 2013 Government order pertaining to the Scheme.
