MUDA extends deadline for payment of money for e-auctioned sites

June 9, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: On account of COVID-induced lockdown, the MUDA has extended the deadline for successful bidders (allottees), who got sites through e-auction, for payment of money without interest towards cost of the site.

The MUDA had sold a few sites via e-auction on Oct.29, 2020 and Mar. 2, 2021 and the successful bidders were asked to pay 75 percent of the site cost without any interest within 45 days of allotment and with an interest thereafter. But as the Government announced a 48-day lockdown in the State affecting the banking and other financial services, MUDA has correspondingly extended the deadline for the allottees to remit 75 percent cost of the site without any interest by another 48 days.
