MUDA reclaims sites worth Rs. 1 crore

November 12, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: In yet another drive for clearing its encroached properties, the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) on Tuesday reclaimed two sites worth about Rs. 1 crore, located in the North East of N.R. Mohalla locality’s old area.

One Mohsin Taj, after succeeding in getting the Khata from the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) by creating fake documents in respect of site Nos. 537/K and 537/L, each measuring 30’x40’ in the locality, had illegally secured the sites by constructing a wall around them.

But MUDA authorities, upon coming to know of the fake documents, reclaimed the two sites on Tuesday, with the jurisdictional NR Police providing security.

MUDA Zonal Officers G. Mohan and H.N. Ravindra Kumar and other officials were present.
