Ameer-e-Shariath Karnataka Hazrath Moulana Mufthi Mohamed Ashraf Ali Saheb Baqvi, former President of Siddiqia Arabic College on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road and Ashraf Ul Uloom Arabic College at Kesare here, passed away  yesterday night in Bengaluru.

An internationally-famed Moulana, he was also the Principal of Sabeel-e-Irshad Arabic College, member of the Executive Committee of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Vice-President of All India Milli Council and an Executive  Committee Member of Islami Fiqha Academy.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered tomorrow (Sept. 9) at 10 am in Sabeel-e-Irshad Arabic College, Bengaluru.
