‘Museum on Wheels’ tour on May 18

To commemorate International Museum Day, the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage under the theme ‘The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities,’ has organised ‘Museum on Wheels’ programme in city on May 18. Interested people will be taken on a bus ride to view various Museums across the city.

The event will be inaugurated at Wellington House on Irwin Road at 8 am. The bus journey will pass through Regional Museum of Natural History, Payana (Car Museum), Rail Museum and culminate at the starting point. Public, students, tourists and Museum enthusiasts in the age group of 10 to 60 years, can register their names at Department Office or over Ph: 0821-2424671 or 2424673 or Mob: 78294-04796 (Curator M. Sunil Kumar) during office hours between 10 am and 5.30 pm before May 16.
