Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharati has organised a Karnatak music vocal concert on Jan. 8 at 6 pm by Vidu. Anjana P. Rao, accompanied by Vidu. Shruthi on violin and Vid. Sai Shiv Lakshmi Keshav on mridanga and Vid. Shamith S. Gowda on ghata. 

The programme is a public performance at Veene Seshanna Bhavan on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar and will also be live on both Ganabharathi Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The above programme is organised in memory of H.S. Ananchachar, Vid. H.S. Yadugiri, M.S. Gopala Iyengar and M.S. Biligirirangachar.

Gayana Sabha

Gayana Sabha, Mysuru, has resumed the theatre programmes from January 2021, which was suspended due to COVID pandemic. 

Pt. Sameer Rao and Shrimathi Devi will be presenting flute and vocal recitals respectively at Veene Seshanna Bhavan, Ganabharathi, on Jan. 9 at 5.30 pm. 

They will be accompanied by Dr. Udayraj Karpur and Adarsh Shenoy on tabla and Surya Upadhyaya on harmonium.
