Mysore/Mysuru: Five personalities from different fields will be conferred ‘Bhoomigiri Narayanappa’ award during ‘Sankranti Sambhrama’ musical evening organised as part of Sankranti festival  by Bhoomigiri Narayanappa Pratishtana and Gananandana at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city from 4.30 pm tomorrow (Jan.15).

The award will be conferred on actor Bala Rajwadi, social worker Raghuram Vajpayee, Sri Rajeshwari Vastralankara Proprietor B.M. Ramachandra and Journalists Dharmapura Narayan and Ravi Pandavapura. Also, MCCI President K.B. Lingaraju, MMC&RI Psychiatry Department Head Dr. B.N. Raveesh and Young Mountaineer Suryakrishna will be felicitated on the occasion.

Kannada and Culture Department Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy will inaugurate the stage programme at 6.30 pm, while Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat District President Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy will preside. The stage programme will be followed by musical evening. [Mob: 98451-56788]
