Musical event and felicitation to Covid Warriors on Nov. 27

City-based Arabhi Samskrutika Trust has organised a  ‘Bhava Namana’ light music programme in honour of frontline Covid warriors tomorrow (Nov. 27) at Kalamandira, Hunsur Road here at 6 pm. Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, Trustee Dr. Kuldeep said that ‘The Trust was launched in 2018 to provide a platform for amateur singers. But due to Covid lockdown since the past two years, it was impossible to conduct any event.’

This year the programme is organised to honour doctors, nurses, ASHA workers and Police who are the frontline Covid warriors. A few  selected warriors will be felicitated, he said. Singers Dr. G.V. Bharathi, P. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Raghuveer, Dr. Sunitha, Mysuru Mahalingu, Jeevan Kumar, Mahadev, Jyothi and Premalatha will render songs. Also, a tribute will be paid to late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
