Muslim brethren to celebrate Shab-e-Baraath tonight

Muslim brethren will celebrate Shab-e-Baraath in city tonight by fasting the whole day and attending prayers at various city Mosques which will be decorated with colourful lights. Lectures has been organised where Ulemas will speak about the importance and significance of Shab-e-Baraath.

Later, Muslim brethren will visit graves of their departed near and dear ones and offer floral tributes.  Lightings have been arranged in the whole Khabarasthan (burial grounds) by Tahaffuz-e-Khabarasthan Committee.

Yesterday, Tahaffuz-e-Khabarasthan Committee Members — former Corporators Suhail Baig, Alhaj Naseeruddin (Babu), Mahmood Ali khan (Khurrath), Fiaz Pasha and Sayeed — supervised cleaning work at the old Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
