Mysore/Mysuru: Mall of Mysore conducted a drawing competition on Aug. 15 in celebration of India’s 76th Independence Day. The event, themed “My India My Pride,” attracted the artistic talents of 350 young participants aged 6-16, who showcased their creativity and love for the nation.
The competition was divided into two categories, catering to children aged 6-10 and 11-16, respectively. The young artists poured their hearts into their creations, expressing their unique visions of India’s pride and diversity.
In the 6-10 years category, Pahel Mehta emerged as the winner while Tanisha Nandi secured the first runner-up position, followed by Krithvini Vijay as the second runner-up.
In the 11-16 years category, Saanvi Dogra claimed the top spot, with H.P. Pavani as the first runner-up and N.P. Preetham as the second runner-up.
Speaking on the occasion, Col. C.P. Medappa, General Manager of Mall of Mysore, expressed his happiness on providing a platform for young minds to channel their creative energies. “The drawing competition not only showcased their artistic abilities but also fostered a sense of patriotism and unity,” he stated.
