Senior citizens celebrated Independence Day with Secretary R.M. Chetty hoisting the National Flag at the Forum premises in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
The I-Day was celebrated at the Convent premises in Hebbal 1st Stage in the presence of chief guests B. Madegowda, K.M. Ramesh (advocate), Prashanth (Asst. Professor at Vidyavardhaka Law College), Rajesh (Asst. Professor), C.G. Prakash Gowda (Organising Secretary of PDNE Trust), Divakar Rao and Manjunath (Founders, Janani Charitable Trust).
Corporator Jagadeesh unfurled the National Flag in the event organised by the Department of Women and Child Welfare, Mysuru City Child Development Project and various Anganawadi Kendras of Sharadadevinagar limits at Sharadadevinagar Anganavadi premises. Senior Advocate Rajeshwari, retired Supervisor Mani and Anganwadi workers of Sharadadevinagar, Vasanthnagar, Janathanagar, T.K. Layout, Thonachikoppal, children and parents were present.
