Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India, Mysore Centre, in association with Mysore Builders’ Charitable Trust is organising its sixth edition of MyGreen-22 on June 11 and 12 at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinoba Road between 10 am and 9 pm.
The exhibition is being organised as part of World Environment Month celebrations and will showcase eco-friendly construction materials, sustainable and renewable energy products, technologies, organic products and environ-ment-friendly lifestyles and practices all under one roof.
The main objective of the exhibition is to create awareness among the citizens of Mysuru and motivate them to adopt an environment-friendly lifestyle. Organic products, a live display of organic manure manufacturing, homemade toilet-cleaning agents, waste management products and innovative technology for tackling wet waste at home by engineering students will be on display.
The information on the exhibition was provided at a press conference this morning at Patrakarthara Bhavan, addressed by BAI Mysore Centre Chairman Elect Nagaraj V. Bairy, BAI Mysuru Centre Chairman R. Raghunath. Other office-bearers of BAI A.S. Yoganarasimha and Venkatesh Prasad were present.
The exhibition will be inau-gurated by Sam Cherian, Mana-ging Director of Schevaran Labor-atories and it will have over 20 stalls from various reputed companies.
The exhibition will also showcase m-sand, WPC recyclable wood for construction and furniture, eco-friendly building construction technology, solar water heaters, microgrids and lights, water treatment equipment, zero maintenance water softeners, waste management, renewable energy concepts and prefabricated septic tanks.
Also, water-proofing technol-ogies, organic manure, lantana furniture, water-less car wash, organic food millets and organic vegetables will be on display along with NIE-CREST which will showcase various concepts of renewable energy.
