Mysore Airport bags third prize for best decorated airport

Mysuru: Mysore airport, headed by its Director R. Manjunath, has bagged the third prize in the contest held for the best decorated airport in category-III airports.

Mysore Airport bagged the prize for exceptional decoration on the occasion of Independence Day – 2019.

The impressive efforts by the airport staff in choosing local themes, laying of impressive rangoli patterns and lighting of the terminal building, helped the airport secure third position in the national contest. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has sent a letter of commendation to the Mysore Airport in this regard.
