Mysore Chalo: Freedom fighters to take out procession on Oct. 24

Mysore/Mysuru: Commemorating the Mysore Chalo Movement, freedom fighters under the banner of Mysuru City and District Freedom Fighters Association will take out a procession in the city on Oct.24.

The procession will commence from Subbarayanakere Grounds along Chamaraja Double Road at 11 am. The procession which features a Chariot (Sarot), will pass through Ramaswamy Circle, Sanskrit Pathashala Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Jaganmohan Palace, Avila Convent Road and N.S. Road before returning to Subbarayanakere Grounds.

Prior to the procession, the stage programme will take place at the Freedom Fighters Association Office in Subbarayanakere Grounds, according to Association President Y.C. Revanna.
