The following were elected as the office-bearers for the Executive Committee of Mysore District Bridge Association (MDBA) for the year 2019-21during the Annual General Meeting held recently at Cosmopolitan Club in city.

Hon. President: Dr. Puttabasappa, Hon. Vice-President: Maj. Gen. K.K. Murthy, Hon. Secretary: Basavaraj Mundalamani, Hon. Treasurer: U.B. Acharya, Immediate Past President: H.N. Jayapal, Executive Committee Members: Shanta Cariapa, Sarvashree S. Diwakar, G.N. Murthy, B.P. Veeresh and M. Ganesh.

MDBA also gave away the awards for the winners of August and September Monthly Bridge Tournaments to Shanta Cariapa and H.N. Jayapal respectively. The runners-up of tournament held in September were Dr. Puttabasappa and Cariapa and S. Diwakar and U.B. Acharya for August. U.B. Acharya was presented the “Player of the Year” award for his consistent performance since the last one year.
