Mysore District Rapid Chess Championship: Pavan emerges victorious

Mysuru lad C. Pavan with 5.5 points from 6 rounds emerged victorious in the Open section at the Mysore District Rapid Chess Tournament conducted by Mysore District Chess Association (MDCA) at the University Lions Hall, here yesterday.

Trishul and Aryan Anand tied with 5 points each and finished second and third respectively on the basis of their tie-break scores. The prizes to the winners were given away by K.R. Shivarame Gowda, Hon.Secretary, MDCA, Seshadri and Smitha T, Jt. Secretary, MDCA.
