Trainers: About 24 local Trainers and a few outstation Trainers from other centres are expected to race their charges during the Season.
The Club encourages trainers from the other centres to take a “B” Trainer’s Licence at the MRC Ltd. Throughout the year so that this would pave the way for those who are desirous of taking “B” licence at MRC Ltd. And keep a few horses permanently at MRC Ltd. This in turn will encourage some of the outstation owners to send a few horses to Mysuru to be trained under the charge of the “B” Licence holders who may already be training for them elsewhere. The Club feels that this would not only improve the quality of racing of Mysuru but also increase the competition.
