Dr. Nithyanand Rao creates new record in MRC

March 2, 2020

Mysuru/Mysore: Mysore Race Club Chairman Dr. N. Nithyanand Rao created a new record as MRC Chairman by his innovative initiatives. This was the first time that this prestigious Invitation Cup was held in Mysuru after MRC attained independent Turf Authority status in 2014.

Taking into confidence all the office-bearers of the MRC, Dr. Rao ensured that the two-day event was a grand success, without giving any scope for any lacunae or lapses.

The MRC under the leadership of Dr. Rao had made elaborate seating arrangements, vehicle parking facilities, necessary facilities for Punters at betting kiosks and a host of other arrangements for the participants.

Overall, it can be said that all the arrangements made at the MRC for this All-India Prestigious event was by far the best.

Opinions

The event was very well organised and everyone was issued ID cards according to categories such as owners, trainers, press and guests to make sure that no trespassers enter the venue. Facilities were perfectly arranged. Managing the huge crowd was really a challenge but the concerned department took all measures to make the event a successful one. —Samudyatha, Admin Officer of a private institution in city

There are no words to explain about how the Mysore Race Club has risen to this prestigious Invitation weekend with the able leadership of Dr. N. Nithyanand Rao and his team. The Club has left no stone unturned in making this event memorable, that too for the first time in the history of the century-old Club. The thundering of the hooves was a melody in itself and to add to the rhythm, there was the traditional orchestra of Kerala, Chende Mela and the traditional percussion of Karnataka, Dolu Kunita. The first impression is the best impression and the Chairman and his team have left a lasting impression and have made the Club proud.  —Sebastian George, Track Reporter, Original Vel
