Mysuru: Due to inclement weather and unfavourable underfoot condition of the race track, the Mysore Summer Races 2025, which was scheduled to begin at Mysore Race Club (MRC) Ltd. from May 30, will now start from tomorrow (June 4).

Spanning over 11 exhilarating days, the Summer Races will offer a blend of tradition, sport and excitement. This year’s Summer Races builds on Mysore’s long-standing legacy in Indian horse racing.

Highlights of Mysore Summer Races 2025 include: • 11 scheduled race days from May 30 to Aug. 6; • Advertised Stakemoney to the tune of Rs. 4 crore; • Two-year-old incentives and performance incentive to owners of horses; • 4 Sweepstake races out of which three would attract best three-year-old horses and one would attract best four-year-old horses from across the country.

Feature Racing Events comprises • The Mysore Fillies Trial Stakes 2025; • The Mysore Colts Trial Stakes 2025; • The Mysore Race Club Million 2025; • The Mysore Summer Million 2025.

The Club has ensured readiness of all racing infrastructures including an excellent racing track.

The Club has inducted three new Trainers which make the number of total Trainers to 22.

About 75 Jockeys including all the top riders in the Indian Racing circuit are expected to ride at the Mysore Race Club during the Season.

With the provision of adequate number of tote betting terminals, the patrons could easily place their bets.
