Main draw in Women’s Singles to be held from Nov.13

The qualifying rounds of the MTC Asian Tennis Tour Women’s US $ 3000 Open Tournament, conducted by Mysore Tennis Club (MTC), Mysuru, was held at their courts in city this morning.

While Meghna Mallath beat Amulya Penikalapati 7-5, 6-2 and Rishita Vyas beat Preethi Ujjini 6-4, 6-1 to enter to the main draw, Shreya Panchal and Anisha Thada got a bye into the next round of the Tournament.

The main draw of the Tournament in Women’s Singles event will be held from Nov.13 to 17 which will see the top women tennis players in our country vying for top honours.

Aaliya Zubair Ebrahim, Avika Sagwal, Soha Sadiq, T. Shreya, M. Reshma, P. Vanshita, V. Lakshmi Sahithi and Prathiba Narayan Prasad are the top players who will be seen in action.
