The University of Mysore (UoM) has been honoured with the prestigious State NSS Award as Best University and Best Programme Co-ordinator for the year 2015-16. Dr. K. Kalachannegowda, former Programme Co-ordinator – NSS, UoM, is seen receiving the ‘Best Programme Co-ordinator Award’ from CM Siddharamaiah at a function held at Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on May 16. The ‘Best University Award’ was received by Prof. Dayanand Mane, Vice-Chancellor (in-Charge), UoM. Madhu Singh and Bhanupriya, NSS Volunteers of Maharaja College and Nataraja Women’s College, were awarded as ‘Best NSS Volunteers’ on the occasion.
