The University of Mysore Men’s Games – 2017 conducted jointly by the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore and Maharaja’s College began at the University Grounds here yesterday. Matches in softball, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, basketball, handball, football were held on the first day and the colleges affiliated to the Mysore Varsity took part in the games.  The Maharaja College also felicitated Hunsur Circle Inspector Dharmendra, who is also an alumnus of the college. Earlier, the men’s games was inaugurated by University of Mysore Register Prof. R. Rajanna. College Principal Prof. C.P. Sunitha, Department of Physical Education Asst. Director Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, College Physical Education Director Dr. H.S. Krishnakumar were present.
