Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. V. Vamshidhar, an established flautist from city, will present a concert at Mysore K. Vasudeva-charya’s house here on Sunday (May 15) on the occasion of the 61st death anniversary of the great composer.  He will be accompanied by Vidu. Aditi Krishnaprakash on violin and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga.  Concert scheduled from 10 am to 12 noon is open to all.

An ‘A-Grade’ flautist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, Vid. Vamshidhar is the grandson of famed flautist of yesteryears Vidwan V. Desikachar.

Vidu. Aditi, tutored by Vid. H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Chitraveena Ravikiran, is an ‘A-Grade’ artiste of AIR.

Vid. Ramanujam is among the most renowned percussionists in the State and has accompanied almost all leading artistes.
